Mumbai Commuters, Mumbai India 2006

City of Mumbai has well furbished infrastructure for communiting people by train.
Because of English influence during the colonial period city infra has relatively been well maintained as a biggest metropolitan city in India.
I like to try local trains or subway if any wherever I visit.

Takinng this commuter train was quite another experience.
First of all the width of the passenger car was very wide compared to the trains in other cities like Seoul, Shanghai or Tokyo.
And since the engine and cars were very old they look very romantic, I mean those are all mechanically driven not by cold electronics.

I like to call ROMANTIC if there is nothing electronic..
Therefore I would rather say, I took a very romatic train in here Bombay. Chao~

I love old train also.
Seeing trains in foreign countries makes me romantic.

Yes. I tried lots of different trains in Japan such as Shinkansen, local JR trains, so many different subway trains.. What I really supprised is the punctuality of the system. The trains stop and leave just as planned on a couple of seconds difference only. Amazing.. ^,^
